Hemeroscopium - Ensamble Studio

Find out more from TREEHUGGER.COM

There is something almost childlike in the way Ensamble Studio [in Madrid] has constructed the Hemeroscopium House. It’s reminiscent of legos and building blocks and is a reminder to professionals that what we do is fun.

Even from the perspective of a general viewer, what has been achieved from a complex series of decisions and deliberate gestures is a simple understanding of construction. There lacks a sense of iniquity or sense of deliberate void from the significance of the structure. However, what lacks in intentional[s] and what remains is a stunning articulation of architecture.
